An oil fired boiler service will include:

• Inspection of the oil tank and visible parts of the oil supply line
• Inspection of oil filters, de-aerators, check valves and fire valves
• Inspection of burner components for wear and adjustment
• Cleaning of the combustion chamber and flueways
• Test firing of the boiler to check operation and safety cut-outs
• Fine tuning of the boiler using flue gas analysis equipment
• Checking of the system controls and thermostats
  

     The oil nozzle is replaced during every service

An AGA Rayburn service will include:

• Inspection of the oil tank and visible parts of the oil supply line
• Inspection of oil filters, de-aerators, check valves and fire valves
• Removal of carbon from the burner, shells and bundy tube
• Cleaning of the combustion chamber and flueways
• Reassembly of burner and base level check
• Installation of new wicks
• Check low and high setting oil valve flow rates (if required)
• Checking of the system controls
  
• Relight burner and check correct flame picture and characteristics
